About Me

Being human means being imperfect—it’s part of what makes relationships so challenging! But imperfection doesn’t have to stand in the way of connection. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you and your partner or family can learn to love and support each other, not despite your flaws, but with a deeper understanding of them.

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how much our early relationships shape the way we connect with others—both now and in the future. And I know just how much the quality of our relationships influences our overall happiness and well-being.

My counseling approach is rooted in attachment theory, helping you build strong emotional bonds with yourself and your loved ones. I value authenticity, honesty, and a direct yet compassionate approach. Using a variety of evidence-based methods, I help clients develop the skills needed for deeper communication, connection, security, and intimacy.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University and a Master’s in Clinical Counseling: Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado. As a Colorado native and outdoor enthusiast, I believe in the healing power of nature and movement. I bring over 12 years of experience in a variety of therapeutic settings—including residential, intensive outpatient, and private practice. For nearly a decade, I worked in a clinic providing neurofeedback services, deepening my understanding of how our nervous system and brain function impact our relationships, sense of stability, and overall well-being.

It’s my passion to help others understand this mind-body connection because it’s the foundation for creating safety and security in our relationships. It has also been a cornerstone of my own journey in learning how to show up as the wife and mother I strive to be. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your own path toward connection, healing, and growth.
